VOILA is a web-based authoring tool that allows the user to create a lesson in which a series of video clips or images are used to demonstrate a concept or practice.  Our award winning, step-by-step process makes this easier to learn and use than many commercially available authoring tools.  A simple lesson can be completed within two hours, provided you have already created the lesson content. CDL is currently conducting a pilot of VOILA with faculty from a variety of disciplines.  Interested faculty should contact Kathleen Willbanks ( Kathleen@cdl.edu ). VOILA is an evolution of the Light Bridge Video Lesson Authoring Tool, developed by CDL as part of the Light Bridge PT3 Grant (www.sonoma.edu/lightbridge).
