This curriculum was developed as a systemwide effort by biomechanics and kinesiology faculty in the CSU system. It includes using Kinematic Analysis (KA) Software, a suite of biomechanical analysis programs that can be run on any Windows based PC. The software provides research project examples with clear illustrations to help visualize the most important theories and biomechanical concepts and includes examples of how mechanical principles influence “real life” movements.
